The fishing boat water emergency response drill was held in this afternoon

This afternoon, an emergency rescue drill on a fishing boat was held in the waters outside the Shuangshan Wharf of Qifeng Village, Chunhu Town. The onsite drill was exercised after the occurrence of the fishing boat collision accident, it was carried out emergency treatment projects such as fire fighting, water drop rescue, abandon ship boarding, fishing boat towing, oil pollution cleaning by using oil booms and oil absorbent pads. Through on-the-spot drills, the safety awareness of fishermen and the self-rescue and mutual rescue capabilities of fishery vessels will be improved, and the emergency treatment level of marine fishery accidents in our district will be improved to minimize and reduce the loss of life and property of fishermen.
 
The drill was hosted by the Ningbo Ocean and Fishery Bureau and the District People's Government, and was undertaken by the District Ocean and Fisheries Bureau and the Port and Shipping Administration. The relevant persons from the bureaus and the fishmen’s representatives came to the site for observing.
