In July last year, the Provincial Department of Water Resources replied to approve the city's pilot work on the comprehensive utilization of dredged sand in the Zhenjiang section of the Yangtze River Channel, and agreed to carry out the first phase of the pilot work implementation plan. The first phase of implementation includes: dredging shallow areas with a water depth of less than 12.5 meters 30 meters outside the existing channel between the Zhenjiang Channel Yizheng Channel # 113-1 Heifu and # 114 Heifu. At the same time, it is stipulated that one cutter suction dredger is used for dredging operations, and up to 12 deep-cabin transport ships are used for transportation operations. There are also a large amount of silt curtains in the dredger The amount of dredged sand is controlled about 270,000 cubic meters. Our city became the third in the Yangtze River Basin and the first batch of pilot cities in the downstream and Jiangsu Province.
