 Jiangmen City held 2019 ccomprehensive maritime search and rescue emergency drill. The entire drill was included 19 scenarios for four major projects, simulating a 100,000-ton-class coal carrier's sudden engine failure and out of control, then it was collided with a high-speed passenger ship traveling to and from Kawashima in the waters of Taishan's Kawashima Island, causing high-speed passenger ships to enter into the water, it was in danger of sinking. The lives of 90 passengers and 6 crew members on the ship were seriously threatened and need to be transferred. Subsequently, the coal cargo ship's cargo hold fire was simulated, the starboard side of the ship was stranded, and the oil spill on the sea surface was simulated by deploying oil booms and oil absorbent pads for controlling and cleaning the oil spill.
