Laibin City held a comprehensive water search and rescue drill

The Laibin City water search and rescue comprehensive drill was held in the waters of Chenjialing, Wuxuan County, Qianjiang.
 
The drill was covered five subjects: passenger transfer, ship firefighting, search and rescue of drowning people, disposal of out-of-control ships, and disposal of ship oil spills by using oil booms and oil absorbent pads. The simulated danger was that Laibinyou No. 1 ship carried 60 passengers down from the Shuangshi Wharf and wanted to sail to Datengxia in Guiping. When the ship sailed through the waters of Chenjialing and turned to the left to prepare to berth at the tourist terminal, it collided with the upward Laibinhuo No. 2 ship. The collision caused the 4 passengers of Laibingyou No. 1 to fall into the water, the kitchen caught fire, the engine room was damaged, diesel oil was leaked, and the ship lost control. After the collision, the ship carried out self-rescue. The Laibin City Water Search and Rescue Center initiated a first-level emergency response, coordinated with the member units, and rushed to the waters where the incident occurred. During the exercise, the participating units cooperated closely and completed the scheduled exercises in an orderly manner.
