The maintenance dredging project of Quanzhou Bay's small sinking channel passed the acceptance!

Recently, the Provincial Quanzhou Port Center organized an acceptance meeting for the maintenance dredging project of the Quanzhou Bay Small Fall Channel in Quanzhou. The meeting listened to the reports of all participating construction units, consulted the third-party acceptance scanning drawings and related materials, and agreed that the project has completed the content specified in the contract, and the construction complied with the specifications and standards, and agreed to pass the acceptance.

The Quanzhou Bay Xiaoshui Channel is the main channel into the port of Quanzhou Bay. It mainly serves the Shihu operation area of Quanzhou Port. The scale of the channel is designed to meet the single-track navigation of 100,000-ton container ships by tide. In recent years, the back-siltation of the channel has gradually worsened, and the channel can only meet the navigation needs of ships by reducing the navigation level.It was used silt curtains and dredgers for silt controlling and cleaning. After passing the acceptance, the small sinking channel will be restored to the original design navigability level, and it  will provide important infrastructure guarantee for the future Shihu operation area No. 5-6 100,000-ton berth to be completed and put into operations.
