Two dock companies carry out water environmental emergency equipment practical drill

A few days ago, Taicang Wugang Terminal Co., Ltd. and Taicang Wanfang International Terminal Co., Ltd. launched a water environmental emergency equipment practical drill. This is another important measure for the joint prevention and control of ship water pollution by two terminal companies.
 
In order to implement the relevant requirements of the Tarim Maritime Bureau's Dangerous and Defence Office in 2018 on the establishment of a ship water pollution emergency response coordination mechanism, Wugang Wharf and Wanfang Wharf signed a coordination agreement to strengthen the ship's water pollution emergency response, and purchased the oil booms and oil trawl, oil absorbent booms and oil skimmer and other equipment, and invited manufacturers to conduct practical training. Before the actual drill, the factory staffs gave a detailed introduction to the specifications, installation and use of the equipment such as oil booms and oil trailer, oil absorbent booms and oil skimmer and demonstrated them item by item.
 
The participants joined in the drill and actively devoted to the practice of water environmental emergency equipment, which further standardized the operation procedures of the ship's water spill emergency response of the two terminal enterprises, and enhanced the prevention and control abilities of the oil spill pollution of the two dock enterprises in the waters of the river.
