Xiuyu Port of Meizhou Bay Port held a ship oil pollution prevention emergency drill

In order to effectively improve the anti-pollution emergency response capability, recently, the Xiuyu Port of Meizhou Bay Port held a ship anti-pollution emergency drill n the west side of berth # 1.
 
The drill simulated the leakage of waste oil when the "Tianxiang 68" ship were unloading at the port, and launched an emergency plan to prevent and control the marine environment pollution caused by ships.Haishen Shipping Company sent a "Shenzhou 268" railing ship to fence the oil booms in contaminated sea area to prevent the further spread of oil pollution..The "Minfu No. 2" oil-absorbing vessel was dispatched to spray oil spill dispersant for oil absorbing operations, and at the same time, the small wooden vessel was mobilized to recover the oil booms, and the oil absorbent pads was used to absorb scattered oil pollution until cleaning.
 
After the drill, the technical personnel of Hiahhen Shipping Co., Ltd. explained detailed knowledge of preventing oil spill pollution from ships, the safe operation of oil skimmers and oil spraying machines and so on.
