The Yangtze River Nanxi Section sudden environmental emergency drill

The Yangtze River Nanxi Section sudden environmental emergency drill was carried out in the waters of the Yangtze River in Nanxi City, Yibin City. This drill was to simulate oil spills from ships in the Lijiatuo waters of the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, and oil pollution occurred near the drinking water source waters of Ximen in Nanxi District, which is continuing to drift downstream. In accordance with the instructions of the on-site emergency command center, the Nanxi Police Station, together with the Maritime Department, the Channel Department, and the Fishery Law Enforcement Brigade dispatched law enforcement boats to immediately intercept and salvage the on-site oil pollution by using oil booms and oil absorbent pads. Finally, the emergency environmental incident was successfully handled with orderly cooperation.
 
Through this drill, the Nanxi Police Station has further improved its emergency response capabilities for environmental emergencies, strengthened its cooperation abilities of each department, and laid a solid foundation for serving the ecological development of the Yangtze River.
