Yangpu Marine Search and Rescue Sub-center organized marine emergency drill

The Yangpu Marine Search and Rescue Sub-center organized a marine emergency drill. According to reports, the drill was simulated when a ship carrying dangerous goods  was carrying out berthing operations,the ship’s flange leaked and fuel leaked into the sea.At the same time, the ship was in danger of fire due to the crew’s misoperation. A crew member fell into the water and disappeared. After receiving the police and verifying the danger, the Yangpu Marine Search and Rescue Sub-center carried out organizing simulations of ships in distress to carry out self-rescue, port terminal shore-based force emergency response, and coordinated "Yanggang Tuo 3" ship, "Pu Xiao No. 1" ship, and "Yang Gang Tuo 5" ship, "Hai Xun 11503" ship and "Triton 2" ship and other four ships to carry out marine fire fighting, search for overboard personnel, oil spill containment and removal by using oil booms and oil absorbent pads.
 
The scenario of the drill was real and close to actual combat. All links of the drill were interlocking. The participating forces responded quickly and the emergency response work was orderly, it was effectively tested the coordination and cooperation capabilities of the search and rescue members.
