Zhuhai Inland Waters oil spill emergency tabletop drill was successfully held

The Zhuhai's inland waters tabletop oil spill emergency drill was officially kicked off at the Zhuhai Maritime Safety Administration.

This tabletop drill was simulated an oil tanker carrying fuel oil was collided with a ship in 3 kilometers downstream of the Modaomen Bridge in Zhuhai, caused about 50 tons of fuel oil to leak. Zhuhai Ship Oil Spill Emergency Command Center organized various emergency response teams to deal with pollution accidents from ships on the water...

The bureau plans to clean up the heavily polluted shoreline first, send additional forces to the site to clean up other shorelines that are about to be polluted, and deploy shoreline oil booms to protect the uncontaminated shoreline downstream... The following products were prepared to contain and remove oil spills, including 5 tons of oil absorbent pads, 500 meters of oil fences, and 400 meters of rapid deployment of the oil booms... Finally, the drill was successfully completed.
