The dredging project of the 10,000-ton-class offshore fishery wharf and anchorage area of Qisha was started

The city was held the start-up meeting of the 10,000-ton deep-sea fishery wharf project in the east of the Qisha Central Fishing Port and the dredging project in the anchorage area of the Qisha Central Fishing Port. Mayor Ban Zhongbai attended the start-up activities and announced the start of the project. Deputy Mayor Zhang Hai presided over the opening of the labor union.
 
The dredging project of the anchorage area of the Qisha Central Fishing Port has a total investment of about 580 million yuan. It is located in the Qisha Central Fishing Port. The anchorage area is 338,000 square meters and the dredging area is 460,000 square meters (including connecting water areas).Silt curtains are using for controlling silt and dredgers are operating the silt. The project is divided into three areas: A, B, and C. The main implementation content includes dredging in the anchoring area, blasting reefs to clear reefs, and setting up navigation marks. The project is a supporting project of the Qisha Center Fishing Port and is planned to be completed in 2022. After completion, it will greatly improve the water environment of the fishing port, increase the navigation capacity of the channel, improve the safety of fishing vessels, and continue to promote the further transformation and upgrading of the marine fishery in the region.
