On October 11, 2018, Shenyang Economic Zone 2018 emergency environmental drill was held in Shenyang. The oil product entered the mainstream of the Hunhe River through the tributary of the Hunhe River, threatening the water environment safety of the Shenyang section of the Hunhe River.

The Shenyang Environmental Protection Bureau immediately reported the situation to the Provincial Environmental Protection Department and the Municipal Government Emergency Office. The provincial environmental protection department coordinated the environmental protection departments of other cities in the Shenyang Economic Zone to rush to the scene for supporting.
 
The drill took the form of actual combat, actual installation and actual combat.
