Fujian Quanzhou Port carried out oil spill accidents emergency drill

Yesterday, Fujian Quanzhou Port carried out oil spill accidents emergency drill at dangerous goods terminal. The purpose is to test the emergency response and handling capacities of enterprises and related units for dock leakage accidents, and at the same time, they invited Quanzhou Port related dangerous goods terminal enterprises to observe together.
 
The drill was simulated when a petrochemical company carried out uploading operations, due to the old rupture of the hose; it was caused leakage of 200 kg of Dichloroethane, the physical discomfort of the terminal workers and the fire caused by static electricity during the disposal process. It will used chemical absorbent pads and chemical absorbent booms.
 
In the next step, the Quanzhou Port Authority will urge the participating terminals to address the problems exposed by the exercise, improve the emergency plan, and improve the handling and coordination capabilities of each emergency force.
