Zhuanghe City launched 2018 maritime search and rescue emergency comprehensive drill

On October 25th, the city's 2018 maritime rescue emergency comprehensive drill was held in the waters of Zhuanghe Shigang District. The aim was to continuously improve the search and rescue emergency plan, improve the maritime search and rescue ability of the city's agencies, strengthen the coordination and cooperation of the unit in the search and rescue operations at sea. Wang Limin, deputy mayor, leaders of relevant departments of the Municipal Government Emergency Office and other relevant units participated in the drill. The relevant leaders of the Dalian Maritime Bureau were invited to observe.
The drill was simulated a ship engaged in the land transport of the Zhuanghe area in the Zhuanghe Port harbor happened car fire, and the personnel fell into the water. The first time after received the police, the Municipal Maritime Search and Rescue Center responded promptly and immediately launched the "Zhuanghe City Maritime Search and Rescue Emergency Plan". At the same time, they coordinated the forces such as boats and drones, and used professional equipment to help extinguish the fires of ships, leaved the waters to safe waters and completed the rescue of people in distress and emergency treatment of oil spills by deploying oil booms and spraying oil dispersants. The activities were carried out through three units of fire drills, evacuation drills and life-saving drills. The whole drill process was tense and orderly. The participating units and personnel responded quickly and skillfully, and it was successfully completed all the drill processes.
