Huangshi Maritime Bureau held a ship oil spill emergency drill

In order to improve the ship's emergency response capacity in the jurisdiction, according to the annual work arrangement of the bureau, Huangshi Maritime Bureau cooperated with a number of units to jointly organize a ship oil spill emergency drill at the Xisaishan oil depot. The deputy director of Huangshi Maritime Bureau, Lv Xinchun, commanded the entire exercise as the chief commander.
At 15:30 pm on November 29, with the order of the deputy director of the exercise, Deputy Director Lu, the ship's anti-pollution (ship oil spill) emergency drill was officially begun. The drill was based on the "National Emergency Response Plan for Public Emergencies" and "Emergency Plan for Changjiang Shipping Emergency" and set up exercises such as oil spill layout, accident report and disposal, water traffic control, and deployment of oil booms for oil spills preventing and oil spill recovery these five drill steps for. During the drill, the personnel of each department abided by relevant disciplines, strictly followed the exercise plan, performed their duties, and completed the exercise tasks quickly and efficiently according to the instructions of the on-site command in order to achieve the goal of preventing the spread of oil spills from ships.
As the on-site commander of the drill, the Huangshi Port Area Maritime Department made careful preparations from the exercise program, scripts, coordination among various units, and dispatched 2 sea patrol boats and more than 10 maritime law enforcement personnel to participate in the exercise, showing good spiritual style, completed the exercise task satisfactorily. The oil spill emergency drill further promoted the construction of the “three basics”, improved the on-site disposal capacity of law enforcement personnel, and improved the ability to cooperate with social wading member units. We performed our duties together in the beautiful Yangtze River construction.
