Zibo hazardous chemical accident comprehensive emergency drill was held

Recently, the province's hazardous chemical accident comprehensive emergency drill was held in Zibo, and deputy governor Liu Qiang attended the event.
 
The drill was simulated a crude oil leak caused a fire, and then they immediately initiated an emergency response to a hazardous chemical accident, organized a fire rescue and professional rescue team for hazardous chemicals to carry out emergency treatment. They used fire extinguisher for fire extinguishing and the used chemical absorbent pads and chemical absorbent booms for oil spill clean-up. The provincial fire brigade mobilized firefighting reinforcements around Zibo, and arranged helicopters to participate in the drill to test "air-ground integration" and cooperated with rescue mechanism. The participating units have a clear division of labor and close cooperation. The drill was achieved a complete success, reached the goal of training the team and improving the ability. In the next step, all relevant departments at all levels will take this drill as an opportunity to focus on practical training, realize the institutionalization and normalization of emergency drills, and promote the improvement of the province's emergency management work.
