Qingdao Maritime Bureau organized an oil spill emergency readout drill

On the morning of January 24th, Qingdao Maritime Bureau organized an oil spill emergency readout exercise in Qingdao Dagang. The law enforcement personnel and equipment warehouse operation and maintenance units of Qingdao Maritime Bureau participated in the exercise. At 09:40, the drill was officially begun. All the actions in the whole process were actual installation, actual transportation, and actual operation. A series of oil spill emergency procedures such as large-scale oil spill emergency equipment callout, road transportation, dock unloading and emergency operations were drilled. It was used oil booms and oil absorbent pads for oil spill clean up.During the two-hour drill, the participants performed quickly and orderly, and the emergency equipment and materials were properly transferred and transported, and the drill was completed satisfactorily. After the drill, the Qingdao Maritime Bureau will seriously summarize the drills, find the inadequacies, and aim at rectification, conduct countermeasure research on the problems exposed in the drills, improve the emergency action plan, and improve the actual oil spill response capability.
