Hong Kong project department recently launched a ship emergency drill

In order to strengthen the safety awareness of the project staff and improve the crew's emergency response capability, the Hong Kong project department recently launched a ship emergency drill on the Ocean Yinghao ship.
The drill is divided into three parts. The first part is the fire drill part. It was mainly simulated when the main engine compartment fired, they immediately called the police and then the personnel quickly gathered, activated the emergency fire pump and other devices to rescue the fire, and completely extinguished the fire by releasing the carbon dioxide fire extinguishing system. The second part is the oil spill drill. After the oil spill alarm was rang, everyone quickly gathered according to the responsibilities of the oil spill response deployment table, and devoted in the simulated oil spill control and recovery work by using oil absorbent pads and oil booms for the first time to continuously strengthen the crew's environmental awareness and emergency response abilities. The third part is the abandon ship rescue exercise part; the on-site command explained the release essentials of the life raft in detail, as well as the function and use of the hydrostatic pressure release device, and to broaden the safety knowledge of the crew. Finally, the project manager emphasized in the summary that the exercise is actual combat. The exercise is to improve everyone's emergency response capability; safety work must be carried out constantly. All members of the project department must establish the crisis awareness of "Today we do not grasp safety, tomorrow safety will catch us ".
This emergency drill is a routine work to promote the annual exercise plan of the project. Through this emergency drill, the emergency response capabilities of staffs have been enhanced and the safety red line awareness of them has been enhanced. It will effectively improve the emergency response capabilities of the project department and ensure the safe production of the ship.
