The two waterway maintenance projects in Shuyang passed the waterway acceptance

Recently, the Huaishu New River Dredging Project and the surrounding construction of the navigation mark at the Shuyang Waterway Station passed the waterway acceptance. Projects are 2018 annual maintenance projects, it was carried out reinforcement works around No. 4 and No. 6 of Huaishu New River, and the slope protection and surface of the target body were reinforced. The Huaishu New River dredging project is located in the territory of the river, with a drooping bottom width of 35 meters, dredging length of 2116.5 meters, and dredging earthworks of 51,332 cubic meters. The implementation of the two projects has effectively improved the navigation environment of the navigation channel in the Xiangyang area and provided a guarantee for the safe navigation of the ship. It was deployed silt curtains for containing suspended sediment and then carried out dredging works.


The inspection team reviewed the project site and consulted the engineering materials. It was considered that the dredging task had been completed, and the dredging section reached the dredging design requirements. The project data was basically complete, and met the relevant requirements. The comprehensive evaluation of the project quality was excellent.
