21/Oct/2019

In order to improve the emergency response capability of oil spills and the synergy of the team, and to ensure the safety and environmental protection of the Bohai Bay waters, the China National Petroleum Maritime Oil Emergency Response Center held a ship oil spill emergency drill in the waters of the Caofeidian Ergangchi Lake. The drill was based on the “Loulan Dangrong oil spill accident” as a background to simulate the emergency response of oil spills. When the cargo transport ship was carrying out oil supply operations, it was docked at Hebei Gnagtie Dock, due to improper operation of the oil tanker. It caused about 70 tons of crude oil to enter into the sea, and the emergency forces of all parties coordinated to clean the oil spill by deploying oil booms and oil absorbent pads.
