Dongying Sea Area held 2019 maritime emergency comprehensive drill

On the morning of September 25th, the 2019 Dongying Sea Area maritime emergency comprehensive drill was held in the Dongying waters. The drill was simulated a oil tanker collided with a passing ship, the crew fell into the water, the tanker caught fire, and the crude oil was leaked. The Dongying Maritime Search and Rescue Center organized various forces to carry out joint rescue of "sea, land and air". The drill was designed to test the feasibility of the city's maritime emergency plan, closely cooperate with the search and rescue of member units, and improve the ability to deal with emergencies at sea.
 
At 10:15 in the morning, the drill was officially begun. The ship was collided, and the smoke was raised. Three crew members fell into the water and the crude oil was leaked. The situation was urgent. The ship in distress issued an alarm signal while they were carrying out self-rescue, and the Dongying Maritime Search and Rescue Center quickly launched an emergency plan.
 
At sea, two assault boats firstly arrived at the incident waters. The search and rescue radar carrying on the ship successfully locked the position signal of the Beidou life jacket worn by the drowning personnel. The rescuers immediately released the intelligent remote control lifebuoy and successfully rescued the two drowning personnel. The use of intelligent lifebuoys in the drill was the first time in Dongying City. The equipment is integrated into the control technology of drones and water robots. The remote control lifebuoy can quickly approach the drowning personnel within 500 meters. It has high rescue efficiency and low rescue risk. It can cope with all kinds of harsh water rescue environments.
 
In the air, the professional rescue helicopter took off urgently and searched for another person who was in the water. After full rescue, all three drowning personnel were rescued. At the same time, the fire fighting work of the vessels in distress was also intensified. The two Chuanxiao brand heavy-duty foam fire engines belonging to the Sinopec Shengli Oilfield Emergency Rescue Base rushed to the dock and successfully extinguished the fire in the ship in distress.
 
At this time, the Dongying Maritime Search and Rescue Center received the information on the ship's oil spill radar from the on-site oil spill emergency ship, which accurately showed the oil spill location, estimated area, and expected drift path of the oil spill. On-site emergency ship victory 505, Offshore Oil 252 ship opened the ship-borne oil skimmers for sea surface oil recovery, the search and rescue center also dispatched victory 212 ship and victory 242 ships to deploy 400 meters oil booms for controlling.
 
The drill process was lasted for 90 minutes. Unlike the previous maritime emergency drills, the drill was not only simulated the emergency coordination command of the marine emergency, the search and rescue force linkage, the implementation of personnel rescue, ship fire extinguishing, oil spill recovery, and public opinion control, but also it was used a large number of informatization tools, and a large amount of new equipment and new technologies.
