Maritime Department holds maritime oil spill training

In order to establish and improve the emergency response mechanism for port accidents, enhance the port's anti-pollution emergency response capacity, and ensure the safety of dangerous cargo operations in the port area, Beilun Martime Department recently organized a marine oil spill emergency volunteer in the area at Yanggongshan Petrochemical Terminal to conduct emergency equipment operation training, Beilun Taisu Wharf, Zhenhai Refining Suanshan Wharf, Jinguang Grain and Oil  wharf, Yongjie Oil Spill Emergency Service Company and many other units participated in this drill.
 
Practical exercises were mainly conducted this day, and practical training was conducted for projects such as quick connection deployment of oil booms, practical exercises of offshore oil skimmers, and start-up spraying of mobile oil dispersants. Through the training, the oil pollution operating capacity of oil spill emergency volunteers in the jurisdiction was effectively improved, and the operating unit's understanding of the marine oil spill emergency system was deepened.
