In the afternoon of December 24, Mayong water accident comprehensive emergency drill was held at the Shenliang Terminal.
 
In order to further summarize and improve the scientificity, applicability and operability of the Shenliang water emergency rescue plan, and to minimize and reduce the negative impact caused by emergencies and water environment, Shenzhen Grain cooperated with Mayong Maritime Department, Humen Port Fire Protection The rescue team to carry out a water accident comprehensive emergency drill at the Shenliang Terminal. About 70 people participated in the drill.
 
The drill was mainly simulated when the "A" ship was berthing at the Shenliang terminal berth, the hull collided with the berthing component of the quay, then the hull ruptured, causing fuel oil leakage, the oil pollution belt spread downstream along the water, and a fire occurred during disposal on board. The "A" ship has issued rescue requests to the terminal and the maritime department through high frequency. After received the report, the related people from Mayong Maritime Department, Humen Port Fire Rescue Brigade and other units immediately rushed to the scene to participate in oil spill disposal and fire extinguishing. At the same time, the terminal launched an emergency plan and linked the ambulance vehicle to implement effective rescue. In the end, the fire was extinguished, the spilled oil was controlled and recovery by using oil booms and oil absorbent pads, the drowning personnel were successfully rescued, and the drill was finished.
