Three Gorges Reservoir Area held a comprehensive water emergency drill

Recently, the Badong section of the Three Gorges Reservoir area held a comprehensive water emergency drill in Badong Port waters. The drill was included emergency evacuation of landslides, rescue of ship collisions out of control, emergency treatment of ship oil spills by deplyiong oil booms and oil absorbent pads, ship fire emergency, and personnel rescue. A total of 25 ships and more than 200 personnel were dispatched. The Yangtze River Badong Port is located in the Three Gorges Reservoir area and is one of the 20 important ports in Hubei Province. This is the only waterway in the Tongjiang Sea of Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture. The drill was jointly organized by the Badong County Government and the Yichang Maritime Bureau. A total of 17 units including transportation, emergency management, ecological environment protection, fire protection, maritime affairs, waterways, and public security participated.
