Fengjie County Port and Shipping Maritime Center launched 2020 water emergency rescue drill

On the morning of August 25th, the Fengjie County Port and Shipping Maritime Center carried out the 2020 water emergency rescue drill in the Jinpen waters of Meixi River.
 
In this exercise, a passenger car crashed out of control on the Meixi River Expressway Bridge. The County and Port Maritime Affairs Center quickly activated emergency plans after receiving the alarm, the traffic control team, the personnel search and rescue team, the life search team, and the communication team. ,the logistics support team, the waste disposal team, and the maritime investigation team performed their duties in an orderly manner. The communication team immediately contacted the social rescue forces near the accident site, such as PetroChina, Sinopec Wharf and Jinpen Wharf, and then they rescue them quickly. The "Yu Rescue 625" speedboat sailed to the accident waters first, and the "Yuhai Xun 203" speedboat followed closely to rescue them. The center arrived at the scene within 20 minutes and immediately began rescuing. At this time, the two people floating on the water still had signs of life. The search and rescue personnel immediately threw a lifebuoy and used life rods and electronic life-saving devices to cooperate with the sailors to launch the rescue. In only 2 minutes, the two people were rescued and CPR was performed immediately and saved lives. Subsequently, the waste disposal team used oil absorbent pads to clean up the oil spills on the water surface.
