CNOOC Bohai oil field blowout and fire accident,search and rescue are in full forces

On April 9, CNOOC issued an announcement stating that on April 5, a blowout and fire occurred on the V platform of the Pengbo Operation Company of CNOOC Tianjin Branch. On April 6, the fire was extinguished. At present, there has been no leakage of crude oil and no environmental pollution incident has occurred. At the time of the accident, there were 102 people on the platform, 99 people were evacuated that night, and 3 people were missing. CNOOC has dispatched rescue boats, helicopters and drones to search and rescue the three missing persons, and carried out oil spill investigation work, and placed oil booms around the platform.
