The first Construction project in Malaysia undertaken by China CSCEC was officially started

Recently,The first Construction project in Malaysia which is undertaken by China Construction Port-the STP2 dredging project in Penang, Malaysia, was officially started.
 
The project won the bid in April 2020. After winning the bid, the overseas business department has actively taken a number of measures to overcome the impact of the overseas epidemic. Through localized recruitment, domestic charter flights and other measures, it will ensure that management personnel, laborers, materials and equipment are in place in time, and it has been officially started recently.
 
The total length of channel dredging in this project is about 3.6km, the amount of dredging works is about 7.4 million cubic meters, and the planned construction period is 31 months. The project department will do a good job in on-site safety and epidemic prevention management and quality control to ensure that the construction tasks are completed as planned.It will used dredging ships(with silt curtains) and other dredging machines.
