Quanzhou Sea and Land Department ensure the Safety of Maritime Traffic and Highway Bridges

19/May/2021

It is understood that many bridges on specialized highways in coastal areas are important passages from Quanzhou downtown to various counties and cities. The traffic volume is relatively large, and there are many ships passing by in the waters of the bridge area. It is a common problem faced by the highway department and the maritime department to ensure the safe operations of bridges and ships.

Through this event, the two departments have conducted in-depth exchanges on the overlapping areas of their business areas and safety management, which is conducive to achieving a win-win cooperation in ensuring the safety of maritime traffic and highway bridges, and it will lay the foundation for the next step in the highway and maritime departments to establish a safety cooperation mechanism.
