Xiamen Shipbuilding Industry successfully completed a maritime oil spill emergency joint drill

Recently, Xiamen Shipbuilding Industry carried out a maritime oil spill emergency joint drill on the north side of the dock port. The drill invited Haicang Maritime Bureau Songyu Brigade to do on-the-spot guidance, it was simulated a oil spill accident when the No. 1 Sk722 ship was fuelling. After received the report, the Xiamen Shipbuilding Industry Emergency Deputy Chief Command agreed and immediately started the company's anti-overflow emergency response, the company's emergency team immediately launched “blocking, people evacuation, material response, and company oil spill accident self-rescue”. Since then, due to the spread of oil pollution, the company has requested Xinsihaifanao company and the cooperation units to launch the project of “oil booms deployment, oil collection from the oil skimmer, oil absorbent pads using and the oil dispersant spraying” to the accident site. The company cooperated with the shipyard to carry out cross-disposal, and can respond in time to sudden weather changes, and better control marine oil pollution accidents. The relevant departments of the office, the security department, the electromechanical commissioning department, the armoring department, the loading department and the collaborating unit (Xinsihaifanao Company) participated in the emergency disposal drill and followed their own plans for the emergency response of the company’s oil spill accidents. It was effectively removed sea surface pollution and the drill was ended satisfactorily.
