Wujiang held a water transportation comprehensive emergency drill

This afternoon, the Wujiang District water transportation comprehensive emergency drill was held at the Jiangyue Terminal of Jiangsu Guowang Gaoke Fiber Co., Ltd.
 
The drill was hosted by the District Transportation Bureau and organzied by Jiangsu Guowang Gaoke Fiber Co., Ltd. The participating units included the local marine department, the district water search and rescue emergency disposal center, Shenghong Holding Group Co., Ltd., the district emergency management bureau and the Wujiang fire brigade went to the site for guidance.
 
The simulation scenario revealed a leak in the cargo ship diesel that was unloaded from the terminal and then caused the fire. In order to avoid property damage and environmental pollution, the relevant departments immediately launched an emergency rescue plan, reported the situation to the maritime department, and organized the implementation of emergency rescue. At the scene, the maritime, port emergency team, fire rescue team, medical rescue team and enterprise emergency team participated enthusiastically. It was used fire extinguisher for fire fighting, and deployed oil booms and oil absorbent pads for oil spill control and clean-up. The traffic control bureau and the maritime office of the District Transportation Bureau actively observed the representatives of the water port and air navigation enterprises in the area, and the drill effect was achieved expectation.
