2019 Liangzi Lake ship pollution prevention emergency drill was successfully held

Recently, 2019 Liangzi Lake water search and rescue and ship pollution prevention emergency drills were held in the Liangzi Lake Waters. The drill was the second comprehensive water exercise in Liangzi Lake Waters in 2019. It was hosted by E’zhou Transportation Bureau, Ezhou Port Navigation Bureau, Liangzihu District Emergency Management Bureau, Liangzihu Local Maritime Affairs Office, Liangzi Lake Administration, and Ezhou City. Haijiang Shipping Co., Ltd. are the co-organizers.
 
At 9:30 in the morning, with the order of the on-site commander, five ships and more than 40 members of the team went to the scheduled waters. According to the drill plan, the passengers were accidentally dropped into the water, and the passengers and emergency towing were transferred after the ship failed to lose power. Then, they carried out ship fire disposal and oil spill emergency response by using oil booms and oil absorbent pads; finally all the subjects were successfully completed at 11 o'clock.
