Wuhan Yangluo Maritime Department held a desktop rehearsal of the ship oil spill emergency drill

On the morning of October 16, Wuhan Yangluo Maritime Department held a desktop rehearsal of the joint ship oil spill drill in the Wuhan core Port area in the National Oil spill Equipment Warehouse in Wuhan.
 
It is understood that desktop deduction is a unique form of emergency exercise. Compared with field practice exercise, desktop deduction pays more attention to the procedures of information transmission, the process of decision analysis, and the scheduling process of emergency resources. Its logic is stronger and its implementation is more difficult.
 
"This drill was simulated an oil spill caused by a collision of an oil tanker in Yangluo Waterway, Upon receiving the alarm,the maritime authorities immediately activated the emergency plan for joint body pollution prevention, mobilized joint body members' manpower and ship equipment resources to participate in the rescue, and made joint efforts to clean up the oil pollution on the Yangtze River by using oil booms and oil absorbent pads.
