Beibu Gulf: Joint exercise to protect the sea

Recently, on the No. 3 anchorage of Beibu Gulf in Guangxi, a crude oil transfer and oil spill fire joint drill is underway.
 
The exercise site was filled with smoke and sirens one after another, and the "Xiaotuo 3" ship, "Xiaotuo 6" ship, "Huanyou 1" ship and "Guitong 1" ship quickly assembled to the incident site. In the wheelhouse of the "Lianyun Lake" ship, the captain held a walkie-talkie and issued a fire fighting order.
 
The "Lianyun Lake" ship played the role of the ship that caused the oil spill and fire and was the protagonist of the exercise. The captain commanded decisively, the crew was well-trained, and the fire fighting was swift and efficient. It took only 93 seconds from the sounding of the oil spill alarm to the arrival of the crew on the scene, and only 196 seconds from the sounding of the fire alarm to the water coming out of fire hose.And then the dispatched ships were started oil spill controlling and cleaning procedures by using oil booms and oil absorbent pads. Finally the oil spill was cleared and the drill was successfully ended.
