Hebei Waters ship-borne hazardous chemical pollution accidents emergency drill was held at the Shenhua Liquid Chemical Wharf in the Huanghua Port Coal Port Area in Bohai New District, Cangzhou City. The drill was simulated a benzene leak from a ship carrying benzene, causing marine pollution. The emergency headquarters immediately activated the emergency plan after receiving the report, they dispatched the ships with pollution disposal products such as chemical absorbent booms and chemical absorbent pads,etc. and finally the pollution was effectively controlled and properly handled. The drill was sponsored by Hebei Marine Ship Pollution Emergency Command Headquarters, and undertaken by Cangzhou Marine Ship Pollution Emergency Command Headquarters.
