2020 Qinzhou offshore crude oil transferred oil spill and fire joint drill successfully held

The Qinzhou Maritime Safety Administration organized the Qinzhou Offshore Crude Oil Transfer Team to carry out Qinzhou offshore crude oil transferred oil spill and fire joint drill at the crude oil transfer anchorage. 9 units, 8 ships and more than 200 people participated in the exercise.
The joint exercise is highly targeted and has a wide coverage. A total of 4 subjects were set up, including oil spill shutdown, fire protection, oil pollution recovery by using oil booms and oil absorbent pads, and emergency departure. During the exercise, the personnel of each unit had a clear division of labor, and they cooperated with each other to ensure that all exercise subjects are carried out smoothly as planned. After the exercise, Qinzhou Maritime Safety Administration organized the participants to convene a summary evaluation meeting for summarizing the effectiveness of the exercise and existing problems, and to conduct in-depth discussions on how to handle the emergency response of Qinzhou offshore crude oil transfers for further consolidating the results of the exercise.
