Shanghai Yangshan Port Phase IV Channel Dredging Project is about to be completed

The fourth-phase channel dredging project of Shanghai Yangshan Port is about to be completed. The amount of dredged sediment is about 2.6 million cubic meters, which can fill about 1,000 standard swimming pools. The two trailing suction dredgers(including silt curtains) work this time and have a daily operating capacity of 50,000 cubic meters. The dredging of the channel is expected to be completed on the 15th of this month, and the water depth of the channel will be sufficient for berthing of 150,000-ton containers.
