2020 Xuzhou City Water Traffic Emergency Drill Held in Pizhou

The 2020 Xuzhou city water transport emergency drill will be held in the waters of Daixu Port in Pizhou.
 
At the drill site, 12 emergency rescue ships and 6 emergency vehicles are all in place and ready to go. 3 professional water transportation rescue teams and more than 60 people participating in the exercise, they have been assembled and are ready. At 9:10 in the morning, with the command of the commander-in-chief, 3 signal flares cut through the clear sky, and the exercise was officially kicked off!
 
Pihang General Tugboat No. 16 ship was collided with the outbound ship Lujining Cargo 6833 ship in the waters of Daixu Port. Two crew members of Lujining Cargo 6833 ship were accidentally fell into the water. Pihang General Tugboat No. 16 ship caught fire and caused diesel leakage to pollute the canal waters. The two ships immediately dropped anchor and carried out self rescue, threw life preservers, life jackets and other life-saving equipment into the river. The ship was immediately reported to Maritime 12395.
 
After receiving the alarm, the Maritime Marine Command Center urgently activated a safety rescue and pollution prevention emergency plan, and commanded maritime law enforcement officers and rescue maritime boats to immediately start rescue operations. The Suhaixun 335 ship, Suhaixun 329 ship, and Jiehang 2 ship rushed to the accidental waters to carry out emergency rescue and fire fighting. Subsequently, the Blue Sky Rescue Team also drove two assault boats and rushed to participate in the rescue in time, and soon two drowning were successfully rescued.
 
The maritime staffs of Suhaixun 328 ship and Suhaixun 332 ship who rushed to set up the oil booms and put the oil absorbent pads into the control area. The Blue Sky Rescue Team and Yizhou Port and other rescue forces rushed to the scene to jointly invest in pollution treatment.
 
At the same time, the maritime patrol boat Suhaixun 330 ship, the water police and two navigation patrol boats were on site to implement temporary traffic control and alert on the upstream and downstream of the accident water area. The ambulances of the city's 120 emergency center were also ready to be deployed at any tim for rescue work.
 
At around 9:30, the accident ship was towed to berth in safe waters, and the oil spill was effectively controlled. Then, the water monitoring department came to take samples to test the water quality, and the Municipal Maritime Affairs Department decided to investigate the collision accident. So far, the 30-minute simulated emergency drill has come to an end.
