The dredging project of the flood storage area of the Huaihe River in Anhui has been fully started

At the construction site of the first bid section of the Menghe River flood diversion project in Funan Wangjiaba, large engineering vehicles shuttled back and forth, and dozens of excavators were widening and deepening the river to increase the flood discharge capacity of the river.Silt curtains was floating on the river and using for controlling the silt and dredgers for cleaning the silt.
 
According to reports, the total planned construction period of this project is 36 months. Through the expansion of the flood diversion channel of the Menghe River, the reinforcement of the flood discharge area of the Nanrun section, and the dredging of the main stream of the Huaihe River, the opening standard of the flood storage area has been improved, and the Wangjiaba and the main stream of the Huai River, it will reach the neighboring area. The Huaigang section reaches the designed flood discharge capacity, which effectively guarantees the sustainable development of the regional economy, society and environment, and has significant economic, social and environmental benefits.
