Wenxian County: Dredging the river to ensure safety

Recently, machinery roared in the river channel in Bikou Town, Wen County, Bailong River, and there was a busy construction scene. More than a dozen large excavators are working on river dredging. And some silt curtains are laying in the river. At the same time, the embankments on both sides of the river will be leveled, compacted and reinforced. It is understood that  Wenxian County Bikou Town was severely affected by the "8.12" torrential flood and debris flow disaster last year. The entire township was flooded and the safety of people's lives and property was severely affected. After the flood, the river bed was raised as a whole. In order to solve this potential safety hazard, Longnan City Longjia Water Investment Co., Ltd. actively participated in the dredging of the river course and strived to complete it before the summer flood this year. At present, the dredging of the Bikou section of the Bailong River in Wenxian County is in full swing.
