A few days ago, the River Pipe Network Management and Protection Center of the Municipal Engineering Management Office launched the Taohe River dredging project, which dredged, leveled and compacted 118 reservoirs in Taohe.

Due to the perennial rain washing, the bottom of some reservoirs was damaged and dented deep pits appeared, causing a large amount of sediment from upstream to accumulate on the river bed. In order to ensure the normal water storage of Taohe and prevent flood disasters, the river pipe network management and protection center mobilized more than 10 machinery including excavators(, loaders, road rollers, transport vehicles and more than 20 municipal personnel to carry out the dredging of the Taohe river. engineering. The project starts from Wudu Bridge in the east to Saiyu Bridge in the west, with a total length of 9.03 kilometers. It mainly cleans the silt of the Taohe River and 39 sewage outlets on the north and south banks with using silt curtains, and smoothes the river bed.
