Laixi River leaked oil interception and recovery emergency drill was held

Recently, the District Development and Reform Commission carried out an emergency drill for interception and recovery of oil leakage from the Laixi River in Zhuxi Town.
 
At 10:40 in the morning, the drill was begun. The drill was simulated the oil leakage from Yongchuan-Jianyang Transportation 0# Chechai of the Sichuan-Chongqing Oil Transportation Department of the South China Branch of the National Pipeline Network. The pipeline was corroded and perforated and the oil was leaked; at 10:50 that day, the regional monitoring center found that Yongchuan was out of the station from 22 km to 25. There was a sharp drop in pressure within a kilometer.
 
The Oil Transportation Department immediately organized the station drill personnel to go online to investigate and initiate emergency response procedures. From the accident report on the leakage of the refined oil pipeline, technological treatment was adopted, and rescue forces from Yongchuan Station and Sichuan and Chongqing rushed to the scene successively to carry out initial emergency response according to the established division of labor, and carry out the operations of pulling the oil booms and oil product recovery by using oil absorbent pads and oil absorbent booms. In the end, the task was successfully completed, all indicators of the on-site water body were qualified, and the drill was ended.
