Xi'an urban river dredging project completed ahead of schedule

The dredging project of the urban area of Xi'an City to the Fourteenth Transport has been completed ahead of schedule, and the ecological effect is gradually showing.
 
Since last year, the Xi'an Water Affairs Bureau has accelerated the launch of three river dredging projects, including the lower reaches of the Shuihe river, the whole line of the Taiping River, and the section from the second water plant of the Chanhe River to the Changle Bridge. Up to now, the construction tasks of the three dredging projects have been completed one to two months ahead of schedule, 31.6 kilometers of dredged rivers have been cleared by using dredging ships, and 184,600 cubic meters of silt have been cleared by using silt curtains. With the full completion of the river dredging project, the water quality of the river has been significantly improved, and the water ecological environment has been rapidly improved, which has provided the city with clean water, green shores and beautiful scenery for the smooth convening of the Fourteenth National Games.
