Hongshuihe Area upper reaches waters carried out water emergency drill

Yesterday morning, Hongshuihe Area upper reaches waters carried out water emergency drill. This drill was simulated a rescue of water accidents about the two ships collision. The realistic scene of the simulation of the water accident was: the fire was occurred in the cabin of the ship; the safety of the drinking water in the dangerous falling water was threatened; and some diesel oil leaked into the river, caused pollution, and it was necessary to use the oil booms and the oil absorbent pads for oil spill control and clean-up; the crew was fallen into the water; the ship was out of control. About 200 people from 21 departments including public security, fire protection, environmental protection, power supply, waterway, health planning committee, Xijiang Office, Xijiang Port Group participated in this drill and 20 ships and 35 vehicles participated in the drill. It was examined the emergency coordination response abilities of the involved areas and departments in the Xijiang waterway.
