On December 9, Zhenhai District launched external pipelines oil spill emergency drill. The drill simulation is located in the second bridge of Haixiang Bridge in the petrochemical development zone, and the crude oil leaked from the oil and gas pipelines, which was 2.3 kilometers away from the stop of the town line of Lanshan Oil Transfer Station. The patrol personnel discovered the dispatch report to the central control duty of the oil transmission station as soon as they discovered it, and the station team immediately notified the local government and other departments to carry out joint disposal.
 
At the drill site, the safety monitoring team performed flammable gas and hydrogen sulfide gas detection around the leak point to ensure the alert range; the technical rescue team blocked the leaked crude oil by using chemical absorbent pads and chemical absorbent socks; after the pipeline technician detected the pipeline direction and determined the leak location, the rescue team opened dig operation pits, formulated plans for emergency repairs, and after the completion of emergency repairs, they properly treated recovered oil and other oily pollutants in accordance with regulations to reduce or prevent secondary pollution.
