The dredging project of the Zhangjiagang Xishiyi Line was successfully completed

On December 10, the dredging project of the Xishiyi Line of Zhangjiagang City was successfully completed. The cross-section measurement and comparison by the project management staff of the Channel Management Office of Zhangjiagang City, the river bed section and elevation all meet the design requirements; it will provide a guarantee for passing ships to pass the channel smoothly.
Previously, the Zhangjiagang waterway management office found that the silt was thicker in the 500-meter section of the southern side of the Jiangqiao Bridge, which affected the safe passage of the channel. In order to ensure the safety of passing ships, the Zhangjiagang Office uses a dry season to organize a professional dredging team to dredging the above-mentioned segments. It was used silt curtains for containing this suspended sediment and dredger for disposing the silt.
