The maintenance dredging project of the main channel of Quanzhou Port is completed

Recently, the maintenance dredging project of the Quanzhou Bay small fall channel was officially completed. The Quanzhou Bay small fall channel is the main channel for the entry and exit of Quanzhou Bay. It mainly serves the Quanzhou Bay Shihu operation area, and the channel size can meet the 100,000-ton container ship navigable on the tide single line. It was used dredging ship(with the silt curtains) and excavators.
 
As the core operation area of Quanzhou Port, Shihu Operation Area has accounted for more than 60% of the container throughput of Quanzhou Port, and plays an important role in the collection and distribution system of Quanzhou Port. Carrying out the channel maintenance construction on the only entry and exit channel of large ships not only does not affect the production of the wharf as much as possible, ensure the safe entry and exit of ships, but also it completes the channel maintenance construction efficiently and safely, which is extremely challenging for construction management.
