The Jiangxi section of the Yangtze River held a comprehensive water emergency water drill

On June 5, a comprehensive water oil spill emergency drill was held in the waters downstream of Penglangji of the Manan Waterway. Three subjects were set up such as emergency evacuation of ferry boat out of control,fire rescue and oil spill disposal.
 
The drill was simulated a sudden failure of the steering gear when the oil tanker was normally launched and touched the pier under construction and caught fire. After receiving the report, Jiujiang Changjiang Water Search and Rescue Center immediately started the emergency plan, and with the assistance of the Jiujiang City Emergency Management Bureau, it dispatched the steam ferry to carry the fire trucks and fire tugs of Pengze County Fire Rescue Brigade to the scene to carry out fire rescue, and after disguishing fire, then it was deployed oil booms and oil absorbent pads for oil spill control and absorbing.Finally the drill was successfully finished.
