Tianjin Nanjiang Port Area carried out joint oil spill emergency drill

Yesterday, Tianjin Nanjiang Maritime Bureau and relevant enterprises organized 2020 joint oil spill emergency joint drill in South Xinjiang Green Port Area. The drill was simulated the fuel oil splashing and leaking during the replenishment operations of the tanker, which caused oil spill pollution on the water surface, then it caused the fire on the deck of the ship and the danger of personnel fell into the water. It was exercised ship fire fighting, oil spill containment by deploying oil booms, pollutant removal by using oil absorbent pads, personnel rescue and other subjects with 5 ships and more than 50 participants.  With the help of modern methods such as drones and rescue robots, the efficiency of emergency response and the success rate of rescue were improved during the drill.
