The Yangjiang Port channel dredging project strives to be completed by the end of next year

Since the construction of the Yangjiang Port’s approach channel renovation project started in June this year, it has now entered the full construction stage. The channel has been expanded on the basis of the original 50,000-tonne channel to the 100,000-tonne navigation standard. After the completion of the project, the level of the port will be further improved, the navigation capacity will be effectively solved, and the sea passage in our city will be smoother. The reconstruction and expansion project mainly includes channel dredging, mud storage pit and mud channel excavation, navigation mark engineering, and obstruction removal. It was dispatched dredger, and then used silt curtains for controlling the silt, and then cleaned the silt .The depth of the channel was dug from the original minus 12 meters to minus 15 meters, and the width of the channel bottom was widened from the original 150 meters to 230 meters.
