    On December 15, 2017, 2017 Zhuhai oil spill emergency equipment warehouse practice drill was successfully held in the frontier waters of Zhuhai Port Maritime Department Wharf, which was organized by the Zhuhai Maritime Bureau; China Offshore Oil Environmental Service (Tianjin) Co., Ltd., Zhuhai Tug Company, CNOOC Shipping Service Co., Ltd., Zhuhai East Dragon Light Oil Co., Ltd, Zhuhai Safety and Environmental Services Co., Ltd. and other units were involved in the drill, there were totally 5 ships and more than 40 staffs participated in the drill. This drill was revolved around the inspection for the equipment maintenance status of Zhuhai ship oil spill Emergency Equipment Library, the purpose was lifted equipment in the library and the joint response capability of the surrounding emergency forces in the area, it was comprehensively exercised the equipment hoisting, handling, operation and cleaning subjects, it was used the fire prevention oil booms for controlling fire overflow, the dynamic oil skimmer for recovering the spilled oil, Oil dispersants for spraying residual oil. The entire drill was safe and orderly, and achieved a complete success.
 
    At 8 O’Clock, the drill was officially started, 200 meters fireproof oil booms, a set of dynamic oil skimmer and a set of oil dispersant spraying device were waiting for shipment in the Maritime Department Wharf under the cooperation of forklift, crane and flatbed transport vehicles in the same place, the participating ships were arrived at the point location in accordance with the training program. At 10:30 a.m., the safety meeting was held at the wharf on the site. the drill was officially carried out, after the stitch of the fireproof oil booms, it was slowly put into the sea under the assistance of the crane, the oil booms were immediately carried out towing operations, it was faced water flow direction to layout “J” Type. When the oil boom was placed, the oil-spill recovery vessel was started the hanging machine to put the dynamic oil skimmer to the board. When the ship was completed the connection with the power station, the Oil Guide bar, the guide oil bar support arm and so on, the oil skimmer was suspended to put down the water, and after the launch of the power station, the oil recovery operations were smoothly carried out. Oil dispersant spraying device was finally debuted, after the completion of the oil collection operations; spraying equipment was carried out the spraying operations, and then completed the last oil spill disposal subject.
 
    After the completion of the drill, the parties was immediately convened a training assessment, all participating units were carried out a summary assessment on their respective operating subjects, and said that through the comprehensive drill, they were all familiar with the oil spill emergency management procedures, and exercised the operating teams. The layout of fireproof oil booms and the operations of the oil skimmer were the first time in the previous pollution prevention drills, it has a good demonstration significance, it was enhanced the area of oil spill emergency level, also played an important role, the close cooperation of the participating units were also presented the effect of benefits, under the background of ecological civilization construction, vigorously water pollution prevention, they hope that the participating units will continue to actively support the cooperation and work together to improve the Zhuhai area oil spill emergency capacity.
